Trip to Kamikochi – The Japanese Alps

We loved the trip to Kamikochi, with steep hills and valley and beautiful rivers – it was absolutely marvellous. Seeing monkeys was a bonus, and there were lots of signs of bears, but we didn’t see any. It all really reminded me of the Rocky Mountains in Canada or the European Alps, but with less people, huts and cows. The contrast of the landscape with bamboo […]

Everything went really well on our trip

Hi KoyomiI just want to say that everything went really well on our trip. The hotels were all well chosen because of their proximity to the station, and for the facilities offered. The tours were all excellent and the tour guides very informative. I was very impressed by Japan and look forward to going back again in the future. The worst part of the trip was […]

Very well done of the recommendations.

Hi Paul, Just got into Tokyo, and back into the world of free hotel WiFi. The ryokans may be terrific, but wi-fi isn’t one oftheir strengths.. So far, it has been terrific! All connections worked really well. Everything is so much easier than when I was in Japan last time, about 100 years ago. Lots of English spoken; buses, trains, subways all do signs and announcements in English now. Before there was none […]

Last minute quote

Hi, I am just writing to give my feedback on Atsu Omori. I called this afternoon and asked for an urgent last minute booking for this weekend. I received a quote from him very quickly and he confirmed all the hotels for me. That is probably the quickest I have ever asked a wholesaler for a quote. He then got the documents to me quickly once the […]

Appi Kogen Trip

Hi Lily We had a wonderful trip to Appi Kogen. The hotel, skiing and everything else was great.  We are now planning for next year.  Thank you for looking after my friend Sarah and her father (they have just been to Niseko and really enjoyed it). Your colleague, Ryoko at Narita Airport gave us such wonderful treatment when we missed our flight to Beijing during the […]

The whole tour was so well organised

Dear Olivia, We were wondering if you could pass on our sincere thanks to Takeda-san in Sapporo.  The whole tour was so well organised and everything ran smoothly.  The Aspen Hotel in Sapporo is a wonderful base and the banquet dinner last night was superb.  Takeda-san, in particular, went to so much trouble to make sure that those with special diets were so well catered for. […]

Professionalism

Hi Takuma,Just letting you know that I received the paperwork yesterday.  I am very impressed with the professionalism of JTB (and you) with setting up the documents and the extra items they get.  Can I possibly trouble you to send me an attachment of just the JTB hotel docs please as some clients (not in Hobart) would like them emailed to them.  Cheers Takuma.Keith

Nothing was too much trouble

Dear Olivia My husband and I have just returned from travelling around the world for the past 9 weeks. Our final port of call was Japan . Normally independent travellers, we decided that by the ninth week of our holiday, we would prefer to have someone do some organising for us which is when I was lucky enough to see your advertisement in the Sunday Age. […]

So nice to have everything organised for me for a change!

Dear Kathy   Just a quick email to let you know how much Tony and I really enjoyed our trip to Bangkok.   I felt so spoilt because you organized everything so beautifully from the hotel to the dinners to the transfers.  It felt nice to let someone organize me for a change.   I doubt whether we’d ever get invited on one of these trips […]
