Sad my trip is over…..

Nothing was too much trouble

Dear Olivia

My husband and I have just returned from travelling around the world for the past 9 weeks. Our final port of call was Japan . Normally independent travellers, we decided that by the ninth week of our holiday, we would prefer to have someone do some organising for us which is when I was lucky enough to see your advertisement in the Sunday Age. We were indeed quite tired by the time we arrived in Tokyo, but the JTB organisation was faultless.

A charming representative of JTB was waiting for us when we emerged through customs . He led us to a beautiful limousine which took us straight to our hotel . From then onwards everything ran so smoothly all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. We had enough free time to visit at length all the galleries and museums we wanted to, and the tours we took were all without exception of the highest quality. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful JTB staff and each tour guide genuinely did his or her best to ensure that we all saw and learnt a lot. Included lunches were well served and delicious.

The trains, of course, were exactly on time, clean and comfortable and we were extremely impressed with the JTB organisation whereby if we needed to change trains, a smiling representative of the company was waiting on the platform to show us where to go. We did not book expensive hotels, but were impressed with the quality of our accommodation for the price we paid.

Next time we visit Japan we hope to visit some of the spa resorts throughout this beautiful and hospitable country. Naturally, we will be using the services of JTB again!
Please pass on our sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone at JTB for giving us such a memorable first visit to Japan . Also thankyou to Olivia Burke in the Melbourne office who did this booking for us.

We would be interested to receive further information about travel with JTB in Japan to help us plan further visits in the future.

Nothing short of amazing….

Hi Tony,

I just wanted to pass on some feedback regarding your wholesaler manager Clem Kueh. I am heading off to Japan next month for a cruise and wanted to have a small stop in Tokyo before and after my trip. I know very little about Tokyo, but I found Clem to be extremely helpful. He took the time explaining things to me in a way that no wholesaler ever really has. I think most important was that he made me excited about traveling.

I also referred another staff member in the office to contact him, and now she cannot speak highly enough of him either. His professionalism and knowledge make it easy for us to feel confident when selling Japan to our clients.

Very rarely do we take the time to say thankyou to our wholesalers for their assistance, but I have found him to be nothing short of amazing and just wanted to pass on our feedback as a store.

Dear Kathy

Just a quick email to let you know how much Tony and I really enjoyed our trip to Bangkok.

I felt so spoilt because you organized everything so beautifully from the hotel to the dinners to the transfers. It felt nice to let someone organize me for a change.

I doubt whether we’d ever get invited on one of these trips again but I can only hope. The people are so down to earth and friendly and I hope I can see you all again one day.

P.S. The flight on the way to Melbourne was half empty. Most of us had three seats to ourselves. I had a good sleep on the way home.

Fantastically Organised Escorted Tour

We are back safely from our Japan trip! We would like to let you know that the trip was fantastically organised by you and we were very happy with it. Everything went so smoothly and the tour guide was very good too! The trip was certainly worth every penny! Thank you so much for a well-organised trip!

Just wanted to let you know

Hello Eri,

I’m not sure if you remember me but you helped organize my recent visit to Japan and I met up with you at your workplace one morning to collect documents etc just before I left.
I returned from Japan last Friday and I just wanted to let you know that I had a great time and to thank you for all your help.
All went very smoothly , the hotels were all easy to locate and very close to a railway station. I particularly liked Matsumoto (great castle!) and Kanazawa, which is like a smaller and less crowded version of Kyoto. The weather was lovely and sunny and a lot warmer than I had expected.
Tokyo was buzzing of course. The Studio Ghibli museum was a lot of fun, I’m glad I made the effort to go there.
Tsumago was interesting and “off the beaten tourist track” and the surrounding countryside was absolutely stunning.
Anyway, thanks again for your help. If you need a reference at all let me know.

A Wonderful Holiday

Morning Emerald,

I would like to thank you for your time and effort in putting together our travel Itinerary to Japan during a demanding high season on a short notice, as well as putting up with my particular preferences. You have pretty much saved the trip.

Peter and I had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed touring the cities using the impressive train service without any problems.

The impressive hotels were very much the Tokyo ones particularly the Park Hyatt and Kyoto’s Brighton hotel was amongst the very good ones.

Your detailed instructions and pamphlets were very helpful.
