Hi I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you so much for all your hard work organising our recent trip to Japan. All the wonderful advice you provided regarding flights, travelling within various cities, the types of accommodation available, ski hire and activities, was really invaluable and meant that we had a fantastic time from our first to last day. As you know we were travelling with a teen and pre-teen , which is not always easy, (and A LOT of luggage), often using the Shinkansen and some local train networks, however, we were always extremely pleased to find that not only was the all the accommodation booked perfect for us, the hotels were also within walking distance from the train stations. Magnificent! We especially enjoyed staying in the ryokan style hotel on Miyajima Island, and getting to and from the ski slopes from our accommodation in Hakuba was so easy, we could not have asked for better. One particular highlight of our time in Japan was attending the sold-out January Sumo Tournament, and I have no doubt that without you securing tickets for us (and travel arrangements from our hotel to the stadium) this is something we would most likely have missed out on.
