We are back from our 21 day trip and we just wanted to say that it was an excellent trip in all respects and we are very happy we went. A lot of walking but there was a lot to see and it was all worthwhile. Ray was very pleased the trip went to Nagasaki,a smaller city with its little trams going up and down the main streets and lots of history.Lorna was pleased to visit Osaka and Kyoto which allowed us to see our home stay friends of 20 or so years ago.The weather was mostly very good but it turned cold on the northern island. The tour directors were still able to make the most of our stay in Hakodate and Sapporo including a visit to a remarkable chocolate factory and the ski jump at Sapporo.
On the last day in Tokyo we were able to arrange a late check out at the Shinagawa Hotel At 1800 Yen per hour and we took an extra 4 hours which, for us, was well worthwhile. Lastly thank you very much for your help. Everything went very smoothly from the initial arrangements, supply of documents and the trip itself. Incidentally from 1/8 Qantas will fly direct from Brisbane to Tokyo and return. The flight ex Brisbane will be a much more convenient time but we are pleased we did not wait.

How are you? I just wanted to send a follow up email to you :)
We got back from Japan on Thursday morning and had such a wonderful time! Im already thinking about when I can go back! Haha. The tour was fantastic and Maya was an amazing tour guide! The only downer was that there was no one Chris and my age to interact with but in the end it doesn’t really matter. Aside from that, we would go again and again! I would recommend this to anyone!
Finally I wanted to say a big thank you to yourself for being an awesome travel agent! We had everything organised so well which made everything even easier while we were away! You are so very helpful and we appreciate everything you did to help us :D
I hope to speak with you again someday. I’m now very keen to learn the Japanese language as well! I have thought about a career change and would really love to do something like yourself or Maya, it seems like a nice job :)
Thank you so much again!

Sadly I am sending this email from work as the holiday is over but Paul and I just wanted to thank you and the your team for a fantastic trip. The accommodation was outstanding and the food was great, I would particularly like to thank you for organizing the gluten free food options for me, it is not too often that I get so many choices when it comes to food! The rickshaw (?) ride on the first night definitely set the scene for a fun few days. A highlight for us was Mr Thao the tour guide, he is a real gem and I can safely say that all of the group I spoke to thought he was wonderful, I am sure that George is going to secretly fund Mr Thao’s Jeep tours once he has finished restoring them….lol
Fingers crossed we are able to attend next years trip, wherever that may be, we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

Thank you kindly for your detailed response.
Yes, you are correct re travel insurance. Our employees are covered by our business insurance, so no need to organise accordingly.
I am currently in the process of arranging Business Visa. I can’t complete the application until I have the flight details, I endeavour to finalise over the next few days.
Thanks again for your assistance, you have been great!

You assisted me earlier this year on a Japan booking where my clients were travelling around the South of Japan. I really don’t know about Southern Japan, so I just wanted to express my thanks in your broad knowledge.
My client, Sandy has also asked me to relay her gratitude. The documents you provided were so informative. She was quite nervous about travelling but your notes put her completely at ease.
You are an asset to JTB!
