Thank you for your email. We had a fantastic holiday, a little cold compared to what we are use to, but great.

Thank you for all your help with booking our tours, they were really great. I truly enjoyed our Hiroshima tour the best and then the Mt Fuji was amazing as well. It snowed the night before we went to Mt Fuji, which made it very cold, however my husband got to see snow for the first time (he was very excited!) 

The Cherry Blossoms were truly worth all the people and craziness.

I don’t have any negative feedback, all the tours were well organised, great fun and informative .

Hi Blake,

We have returned from Japan after an enjoyable trip.

The main reason in writing to you is to acknowledge the tour arranged for us. Being the first day after arriving in Japan we got a good idea about Tokyo, particularly the train system and seeing the Cherry Blossom.

Mikki, our guide was excellent and made every endeavour to not lose anyone as well as explaining and ensure we saw the features of  the tour. It would be appreciated if you could pass our thanks onto her and the Company.

We had a super holiday in Japan, thank you. The snow at Rusutsu was excellent, at Naeba a bit soft but it is a great place for the apres-ski. Lots of Restaurant options. On the downside, it is infested with snow boarders?

Now, the advice on getting to Haneda by train needs to be revised.   People should book through to Shinagawa on the Shinkansen.   There is no direct connection from Tokyo station. Then once at Shinagawa, take the Keikyu line to Haneda, about 15 to 20 mins.

Please let me know of any early bird specials, we would be looking at Rusutsu again and for about the same time of year.

Hi Hayley

My husband and I have opted for the 21 day JR pass seeing as we’re in Tokyo for a whole week and will likely be travelling around during that time. We’re happy to spend the little extra so we don’t have to think about when to activate and to keep track of when our passes expire.

Before I go though, I have to mention that you miss (or Ms) are a legend! I’ve spoken to you a couple of times on the phone and now via email and every time you’ve gone over and above to provide us with all the details we need to take the stress away from planning our trip. You’ve not only recommended ways in which we can better get to each destination but also provided us with good tips on our travels during Golden week – making sure we booked our accommodation first (good call). In addition to this, we really appreciate how you’ve tried to help us save on costs (something you don’t often see).

Good afternoon, Hiroko.

We returned from our Japan tour last Sunday. What a wonderful experience seeing the large cities of Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo and then enjoying the 8 day tour managed by JTB Sunrise Tours. The running of the tour was excellent and efficient and gave us a wide variety of city and country living. We were fortunate to also see some early cherry blossom blooms towards the end of the trip. The respective tour guides were all very proficient but special mention goes to Sumiko Fukami who led us over two/three days visiting the sights of Takayama, Shirakawa-go and Kanazawa. Sumiko made us feel very welcome and was a most informative and obliging guide. I will also be sending Sunrise Tours an email letting them know of our appreciation.

Hiroko, thanks for all your organising and attention to our needs. It made for a very enjoyable time.

I just wanted to send through a BIG Thank you to JTB and yourself for the most amazing opportunity to visit the Kyushu Region!

What a fabulous part of the world! The self drive was fantastic and not daunting, the towns/cities and the whole itinerary was superb.

I have been raving about the areas all week to clients – the live volcano, the mountains, rainforest, the hells – all amazing!

And the colour itinerary you put together was outstanding!

I will definitely visit this area again! I mentioned to Beth that I will be taking another group next October 2020, so a little while off, but will start looking at the itinerary soon.

Hi Olivia,

Thanks for your welcome home.   We had a wonderful trip with both WalkJapan and ski-ing at Nozowa.   Thanks to you we had  VIP accommodation at Yudanaka ( to see the snow-monkeys ) and a great stay at Sakaya Ryokan at Nozowa.  The Keio in Tokyo was first class as usual ( and so close to Shinjuku station and some great restaurants ).

Thank you for your attention and organising both accommodation and travel. It made travelling so much easier.   

Next time we think we might go in the Spring or Autumn ( Japan does look bare in winter ).
