Another Great Visit

Tuesday, May 24th, 2016
Hi Sarah I wanted to pass on my thanks for the arrangements for our groups visit to Japan last week – I accompanied the group and hosted them up there (something Ive done for the past 12 years) This year was another great visit I specifically wanted to let you know that the guide we had on Wednesday for the trip to Nikko – Mikka I believe was her name but apologies on the spelling) was excellent and had a great sense of humour and rapport with her guests – we would be very happy to utilise her again or recommend her to others Regards Terry

Happy to recommend JTB to anyone

Dear Mika, We are back in Melbourne after our trip to Japan. We want to thank you very much for all your help and advice in regards to our trip. All the arrangements you made for us happened really smoothly, the accommodation was excellent and all your advice was invaluable. The Kyoto Day Tour that we did with Sunrise Tours, with an outstanding guide named Yuki, was especially good. Thank you again. We are happy to recommend JTB to anyone who asks about organising a tour of Japan. Best wishes, Devorah and Phillip

Wouldn't have changed a bit!

Hi Olivia, Thank you so much for all your help in organising our Japan trip. Everything ran very smoothly and I can’t think of any way in which we would have altered any of our arrangements. We were a little unfortunate with our timing in Hakone as the Ropeways were all out of action (and the weather didn’t allow us to see Mt Fuji), and the Public Holidays at the end of the month meant a couple of the attractions in Osaka (the Aquarium and USJ) were insanely crowded – but I imagine it would be fairly busy at these places all the time – and it certainly didn’t put a dampener on our adventures. The trip out to Hakone – which we never would have thought to do – complimented our journey brilliantly. Relaxing in an onsen amongst the tranquil hills of Hakone was the perfect way to relax after a hectic first few days in Tokyo and recharge ahead of the rest of our holiday. Great idea! The flights you got us were great, the travel arrangements worked beautifully, the sequence of destinations worked well……….again, wouldn’t have changed a thing! So thank you once again. I’ve already been recommending you to others (I hope you don’t mind). Who knows, we may have to come see you again when Ava is a little bit older and wanting to return!! All the best, Steve

Thank you for the most exceptional holiday.

Dear Sir/Madam We would like to thank JTB sincerely for the most exceptional holiday we had in Japan from 11 April to 27 April, 2016. We booked through the Flight Centre (Jodie) at The Pines Elanora, but our itinerary was put together by yourselves. You are to be complemented for the complete travel, including accommodation and tours etc. We will certainly recommend our itinerary to others and your exemplary service. We could repeat the whole trip again it was so good. Many thanks. Kind regards, Johannes and Margaret

You are an asset

Hi Mende Now that we have finished(I hope), all of the many, many changes that have been made to our itinerary, grade of hotel, tours, sights, Rail Passes etc etc . I’d just like to say thank you for patience and tolerance in dealing with us. If it was me I would have given up long ago, but you persevered and managed to fulfil all our requirements. In addition you were a very knowledgeable source of information about the places and sights, transfers hotels and passes we needed, which enabled us, I think, to greatly improve what we initially started with. You’re an asset to your company. I had a look at your website to identify your Manager so that I could send a copy of this email but had no luck. Please show this to your Manager or if you like send me the email address and I’ll send a copy. Once again Thanks Michael

Gave us many happy memories

Hello Koyomi,

We returned from our holiday to Japan (via Singapore) almost 2 weeks ago; sorry that we haven’t emailed you sooner!.

We all had a wonderful and very enjoyable time in Japan. The people were very friendly, the weather was good and all tours, accommodation and rail travel perfect. We saw lots of Cherry Blossom on trees too. Our daughter, granddaughter and grandson played the Konpira Fune Fune game with the Maiko on our dinner tour, and both our grandchildren won. That was special for us.

Most of our time was spent in and around Tokyo and Kyoto and visiting our son-in-law’s Aunt in a town near Mishima on the Tokaido bullet train line, where they live in their Japanese style house. We didn’t get to your home town area but did see the Chiba sign on the road to Disney Resort.

Thank you for everything that you did for us, Koyomi, it gave us many happy memories.

Best Wishes to you and your family.
Dennis & Athena

Can't wait to return!

Hi Koyomi,
Just to let you know we recently returned from our holiday to your beautiful country and had a fabulous time.
All the accommodation was excellent as was the tours. The JR pass was perfect for our travel needs and enable us also to explore towns outside the main Shinkansen lines.
Can’t wait to return to Japan. Thank you again for all your assistance.

Best Family Skiing Holiday

Monday, May 2nd, 2016

Our family of six (including four children between 9 and 14) had the holiday of a lifetime skiing and snowboarding in Hokkaido in late January 2016. We flew from Brisbane, with a short stopover in Taiwan, Taipei, then straight on to Sapporo, Hokkaido. It was a very comfortable trip, with no jet lag, and we were met by JTB staff and put on a coach for a short but scenic drive through the snow to Rusutsu Resort.

The Rusutsu Resort facilities and service were fantastic and there was plenty of the most beautiful soft powder every day. There’s plenty for the kids to do — a two-storey merry-go-round, a wave pool with slide, dog sledding, snow mobiling, etc. The hot springs were a highlight. I recommend Rusutsu Resort for families with both experienced skiers and beginners, and it is the perfect introduction to Japan for first-time visitors. We are recommending this trip to anyone who will listen. Thank you JTB for one of the best holidays we have ever had.
