Explore Retro Shinsekai & Taste Authentic Kushikatsu (Deep-fried meat and vegetable skewers)
Kick off your ultimate foodie adventure in Shinsekai, a nostalgic neighborhood frozen in time! Wander past retro arcades and iconic landmarks safely with your local guide. Here, you will discover the birthplace of Osaka's first soul food: Kushikatsu. Enjoy these crispy, deep-fried meat and vegetable skewers piping hot out of the fryer, perfectly paired with the lively local atmosphere, before we head to the neon lights of Namba!
Visit the vibrant and bustling Dotonbori, Hidden Temples & Street Takoyaki
Navigate the dazzling neon maze of Namba and Dotonbori like a true local! We will escape the crowded main streets to explore a narrow, museum-like historical alley and discover a peaceful hidden temple right in the middle of the city. As we soak in the vibrant "Kuidaore" (eat until you drop) culture, we will stop to enjoy our second soul food: piping hot Takoyaki (savory octopus balls) straight from a popular local street vendor.
Learn to cook your own savory Okonomiyaki pancake on a hot iron grill
