What To Expect

Elevate your look with a touch of authentic Japanese artistry. In this unique experience, you'll have the opportunity to accessorize with exquisite Hida-shunkei lacquerware. Known for its elegant, transparent lacquer that highlights the natural beauty of the wood grain, this traditional craft is a true symbol of Hida-Takayama's heritage. Depending on your preference, you can adorn your hair with a stunning kanzashi (ornamental hairpin) or opt for the latest innovation in traditional style: Shunkei lacquer nails, available from April 2025 onwards. This is more than just a fashion statement; it's a chance to wear a piece of Japanese history and craftsmanship.
