Please disembark at the Shikashima Ferry Terminal of the Fukuoka City Ferry. You can arrive in 1 minute on foot. The torii gate at the entrance to the shrine is a landmark.

What To Expect

Shikanoshiima island is an island with a circumference of approximately 10 km. You can go around the coastline and enjoy the sea scenery. There are also old fishing villages and farming villages that remain, so you can enjoy the townscape of old Japan.
- Helmet and lights are available for rent free of charge.
- On the day of the event, please wear athletic shoes and clothes that are easy to move in.


Shikanoshima island is a small island that can be accessed in just 30 minutes from central Fukuoka.The townscape and lifestyle of the old fishing village still remains.
