This Is the Shibuya Your Friends Don't Know About Yet
We kick things off with Japan's iconic pre-drinking turmeric shot — a local ritual before a big night out. Then step into Oku-Shibuya, a quiet plateau just minutes from the scramble that escaped the developers and stayed deliciously local. Your guide explains why over a curated course at one of the neighborhood's most beloved izakayas. Great food, great stories — and the night has only just begun
The Night Gets Loud — in the Best Way
If Oku-Shibuya never changed, Center-gai never stopped reinventing itself. Your guide shares how this neon-lit street became what it is — then it's time to become part of the scene. Share plates, clink glasses at a lively local izakaya packed with Tokyo energy. By the time you leave, that stranger next to you feels like an old friend. Cap it off with a group photo at the Scramble Crossing.
One Sip and You'll Never Look at Sake the Same Way
Just steps from the crossing, down a street most visitors walk right past, is a sake bar that locals actually go to. Taste sake from breweries across Japan — poured into wine glasses, the way it deserves. Your guide will decode the labels and help you find the bottle that clicks for you. End the night on a high — stay for another round, or head out to explore more. Shibuya is yours.
Food and drinks are not included in this tour. At each venue, your guide will recommend a carefully handpicked food menu curated by MagicalTrip — designed to give you an authentic Tokyo bar-hopping experience. Drinks are your choice — order whatever you're in the mood for. Additional food and drinks are always welcome if you'd like more!
Please bring cash of around ¥6,000 per person. The food and drinks at each venue are split equally among the group — any amount under ¥100 is rounded up and carried over as a credit toward the next venue. Any additional food or drinks you order beyond the base menu will be charged separately to you at that stop. You do not need to pay for the guide's food and drinks.
