About Ayako Tsunazawa
A Taiko performer, Taiko workshop facilitator and event organiser from Tokyo, Japan. She started her Taiko career in 1996 and was a main performer of “Walakado”. Since moving to Australia in 2007, she has been performing with her duo “A.YA” and teaching Taiko in Australia.
In 2012, she established Australia Miyake Kai which practices a traditional taiko style from Miyake island in Tokyo. Other traditional taiko styles are also practiced and facilitated by her in Melbourne.
Ayako completed a Diploma of Children Service in 2013. She regularly visits Childcare centres to provide Japanese music programs.
She is currently a president of Taikokoro Inc that has promoted Taiko culture to Australia since 2019.

3) * Travel Credit is limited to one per person, per booking. Credit is transferrable to a family member only. One credit per person per booking only can be redeemed on travel services to Japan. Conditions: Travel must be prior to 31/03/22 and the total cost of the travel package booked is over $1000 (excluding rail passes). Credit may not be redeemed for cash.
