Adelaide Hills & Handorf

The Adelaide Hills is only a short drive from the Adelaide CBD, but a long way from the hustle and bustle of the city streets. Home to the Mt Lofty Ranges, dotted with unique and historic villages, cellar doors and spectacular landscapes, this tour will give you a taste of the region. Depart your city hotel for an afternoon tour of the Adelaide Hills. Drive along North Terrace, Adelaide’s cultural precinct, on the way to Mount Lofty Summit, Adelaide’s highest peak. Take in the spectacular views of the city and the coastline – a perfect photo opportunity. Wind your way through the Adelaide Hills villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate and Bridgewater before arriving at the Beerenberg Farm Shop, where there is time to taste and purchase from their full range of products. Then it’s on to Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German settlement. Spend the afternoon exploring the main street of Hahndorf where you can sample local produce, check out the local arts and crafts before enjoying afternoon tea or a traditional German beer tasting at the very popular Hahndorf Inn.
Barossa Food & Wine Experience

Enjoy a full day food and wine journey to South Australia’s premium wine region, the Barossa. Take time to sample some of the Barossa’s finest wines and gourmet food that makes this wine region so special. On this tour you will visit the new Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, the famous Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop and two award winning cellar doors. Your first stop is Pindarie, a multi-tourism award winning cellar door, which feels more like an Australian Homestead than a cellar door. The friendly staff share their stories behind the wines as you sample their famous blends in the heritage stables. Sit back and admire their stunning vineyard views while you enjoy some morning tea. The next stop is a visit to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, an absolute must whilst visiting the Barossa. Maggie Beer –cook, writer and founder of ‘Maggie Beer Products’, offers tastings and sales of her full product range including limited edition seasonal produce. On arrival at Lambert Estate at Angaston, you will enjoy a structured wine tasting whilst sampling local seasonal produce from gourmet platters. Main course follows, and is a feast for the senses, with two signature dishes, salad and vegetables. You may wish to purchase a glass of wine from the impressive wine selection, or enjoy a coffee accompanied with their popular Chocolatier (Chocolate Port). Leaving Lambert Estate, travel to Mengler Hill Lookout for sweeping views over the valley and then onto the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company your final stop for the day. Here you will taste house made chocolates paired with Vineyard Road’s handcrafted wines which will be a great way to finish off our Barossa Food and Wine Experience.
Murray River Highlights

The Murray River Highlights tour departs Adelaide and travels to the mighty Murray. On your arrival at the river your will board the Proud Mary and relax as you cruise the historic river enjoying the wildlife and surrounding scenery. Enjoy lunch on board the Proud Mary as you continue your journey along the river and gain insight into the river system and unique landscapes of the region. Upon disembarking you will journey on an incredible coach tour along the river bank of the Murray River taking in spectacular views, travelling over the river on punts and stopping regularly for great photo opportunities, including the Mannum Lookout. Travel back to Adelaide via the delightful Adelaide Hills, stopping at Melba’s Chocolate Factory where you can purchase afternoon tea and delight in cheese tastings at Woodside Cheese Wrights in Woodside (both at own expense).
Victoria Harbour & Southern Highlights with lunch

Enjoy a delightful tour of South Australia’s premier tourist region, the Fleurieu Peninsula. This tour begins with a picturesque coach ride through the Adelaide Hills to the historical Scottish settlement of Strathalbyn. Here you will stop for some free time and morning tea in High Street (own expense). Continue on to the paddle steamer town of Goolwa where you will have a brief tour of the town including the wharf, barrage and beach. On your way to Victor Harbor, travel past the charming coastal town of Port Elliot including Horseshoe Bay and stop at Whale Lookout for a photo opportunity. Upon arrival at Victor Harbor, South Australia’s most popular seaside village, wander through the main street, sampling the fresh local product. 3 course lunch at the Hotel Victor or indulge in some fish and chips on the foreshore (own expense). You may choose to explore Granite Island, where you’ll find the Little Penguins and you might even catch a glimpse of a Southern Right Whale during the winter months. Your tour then continues to the wine making region of McLaren Vale, best known for producing outstanding Shiraz. Wander the main street, sample the fresh local produce including the delicious cheeses at Blessed Cheese, taste some of the fine wines or grab a coffee at one of the many cafés. From here take a scenic drive through South Australia’s southern metropolitan beaches of Port Noarlunga and Moana before returning to Adelaide.
Kangaroo Island Experience

Explore the highlights of South Australia’s Premier nature- based tourism destination, Kangaroo island. An Early morning pick up from your hotel for a scenic coach transfer to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views and rolling hills. On arrival, board the SeaLink ferry for the 45-minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Here you will board your luxury SeaLink coach and your local driver /guide will take you on a tour of South Australia’s premier nature-based tourism destination. Visit Seal Bay Conservation Park where you will be taken on a beach walk with an experienced guide, and be amongst a colony of rare Australia sea lions. Get up close and see these wild creatures frolic and laze about- a truly amazing and unforgettable experience. Then enjoy a delicious two course lunch at Vivonne Bay Bistro, set in a beautiful Australian bush setting, followed by a visit to the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, where you will see koalas relaxing in the trees. Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park, which is renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. See the rugged coastline from walks around Remarkable Rocks and Admiral Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities, and the Admiral Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal the spectacular rock archway, a natural nursey and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals. There is also a possibility that you will see more kangaroos and wallabies on your return to either Kingscote Airport or Penneshaw for your return ferry and transfer to Adelaide.
